SON OF SLAIN MARIA MAKGATHO OFFERED A JOB BY AGRICULTURE MEC
The son of Maria Makgatho has been offered a job by Limpopo Agriculture MEC Nakedi Kekana.
That's according to Minister in the Presidency responsible for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, Sindisiwe Chikunga.
This follows the brutal murder of Maria Makgatho, who was shot and fed to pigs while she was looking for expired foods at a farm in Sebayeng in August.
Speaking to the media outside the Mankweng Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, where the three accused Rudolph De Wet, Zachariah Olivier, and William Musora were appearing for bail application, Chikunga said government will continue to offer support to ensure Makgato's children are taken care of.
Chikunga says the province has reaffirmed its commitment to support the children of the deceased with school uniform and bursaries.
